In June of 2022, my wife and I heard the calling to the mission field to become missionaries in the Philippines. God has shown us the need of a Bible believing church to be planted in the Sasa area of Davao City.

I was an engineer for years and my wife ran the household of 3 kids. The Lord had blessed me with a degree that provided a good engineering career, but I also believe that hindered me to follow through with doing more of God’s work. Now, my focus is to live as God’s servant to provide service towards His will. I have dedicated myself in this last leg of my physical life (or until the Rapture) to serve Him with the spiritual gifts He has given me and never give up the drive towards His calling.

After confirming this calling from the Holy Spirit, I retired early from my engineering career and started a development pathway towards becoming a missionary. I asked God to use me where I was needed and it became a full time service for the Lord. I enrolled into a Bible College program with Faith Bible Institute and started discipleship training with our Missions Pastor, Justin Williams. I have been attending online missionary courses at West Coast Baptist College to obtain information related to missions work and pastoral preparation.

I was led to preach Sunday services at the Martinsburg, WV prison, lead weekly men's devotional prayer sessions, teach Adult Sunday school classes and teach

Biblical Living classes at Martinburg Christian Academy. My wife Jhelyn was also led to accept a teacher's assistant position at MCA.

We completed two missionary survey trips to the Philippines and were led to the area where God showed us the need for Bible believing churches. We also had led many lost souls to Christ during our survey trips. We had our first supporting church take us on as missionary partners in November of 2024 and will continue seeking support through the end of 2027 or until God has led us to full support.
